The cap illustrated is the standard enlisted man’s (EM) garrison cap in OD wool. this example is that of the Corps of Military Police. Each branch of service had it’s own distinctive braid around the cap. The Military Police is the GREEN and YELLOW as shown. These caps were worn by MPs with Class ‘A’ and Class ‘B’ uniforms. In addition, they might, on certain occasions, wear the EMs service cap with, or without, a white top.
