GERMAN WW2 MAUSER K98 RIFLE – QM PROPS

(3R001)

The Karabiner 98 Kurz was the bolt-action adopted in 1935 as the standard rifle for service with the German Wehrmacht. Although it was supplemented by semi- and fully automatic rifles during WW2 it remained the principle service rifle until the end of the war. Many of the rifles continue to be seen in conflicts across the world as captured weapons were distributed by the Soviets as military aid at the conclusion of WW2.

During the Second World War it was often captured and used by resistance groups.
