FRENCH WW2 MARINE INFANTRY CAP – QM PROPS

This is an example of the style of headgear worn by various Marine Infantry units of the French Army and Navy during WW2. They are commonly associated with units that landed in France during and after D-Day 1944.  They could be seen worn by elements of the Fusiliers Marin, the French Commandos and units attached to the naval combat units of the French Navy.
